Meep. I wasn't taking it particularly literally...just sort of, "Muppets are Cylons, hee!" Maybe they're like the background Cylons, other copies we never saw.
If you're referring to the Muppets, I think we need one now. If you're referring to the actual TV movie they're planning, er...I've not been paying attention, but soon, I hope!

Wait, it's TV movie? I only just read about it and thought it was theatrical. Did I misread? A TV movie makes even less sense to me than a theatrical does!

Ah, it appears we have a nomenclature issue here. BSG: The Plan isn't the same as a TV-movie remake of the series, which is what I thought you meant. (At least, in my mind, it's not the same.) I didn't realize The Plan was just a movie. Somehow I'd got the impression it was going to be some sort of series.
Anyway, there is a plan for a theatrical, according to the article I read yesterday. (http://artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/08/14/battlestar-galactica-embarks-on-big-screen-adventure/?hp) For whatever it's worth. Why we need another one I sure as hell don't know.

Ah, I see. Yeah, as far as I know, it's just a Sci-Fi (I refuse to use their new spelling) one-time movie-length thingy. Caprica, on the other hand, is apparently starting its first season in January. (Netflix is supposed to be sending me the pilot today...I'd kind of forgotten about it until the S4 soundtrack reawakened my interest in all things BSG.)

I think the top two reasons are 1.) It's a cash cow now, and 2.) I remember hearing Glen A. Larson was pissed off about the direction the show took, in particular making Starbuck a girl.

At present I'm in the middle of season 3. Their food was recently contaminated and they had to go through a nuclear cloud to get to the 'Algae Planet', where they discovered the temple thingy and are looking for the Eye of Jupiter.
