Color is cool

When I win the lottery and get my own kitchen, I want it to look like a much-scaled-down version of this one. (You can get colored appliances! Who knew? If I don't recreate that picture, I could have a purple fridge!)

That's a seriously mag kitchen. I'd probably go for dark red appliances, though.

With two exceptions, I've never seen anything but white/black/stainless steel before. The house I spent most of my childhood in had a pale yellow oven and fridge. And I've seen some old pictures of the avocado green/burnt orange 70s nightmares we're supposed to be grateful we no longer have to look at. Beyond that, nothing. Certainly no pretty colors like blue and red.

The most common color besides white/stainless (black's not that common here) would be red, but apparently you can get a lot different colors as well. Wow, that's a gorgeous kitchen. I love the idea of such colorful appliances. We only ever had beige or white fridges growing up.
