Music and one more Castle thing

Those of you whom I have incompletely addicted to Hem, this fine retailer is having a sale on all their albums today--each is $5. You can't go wrong with a price like that. Go forth and buy them!

One more thing I wanted to say about this week's Castle:

alethialia and others have already mentioned this, but I thought I would chime in as well. This is show is so awesomely not faily. This week they had a victim who was bisexual, polyamorous, and a member of a vampire subculture, and no one batted an eye. There was no sniggering about one or all of these things (well, okay, maybe a little about the vampire thing, but not in a way that felt offensive) like you would get on Certain Other Crime Shows I Won't Name, But I'm Sure You Know To Which I Refer. *coughBonescough*

Add to the continuing awesomeness in regards to all the female characters, and...this show is just so wonderful. I watch it, and I have a smile plastered on my face for the rest of the day. I would like to textually render my love for it, but I don't know that I can.

Castle rocks. Did you find out the other reference? I'm so pissed at the Philly ABC station for pre-empting for football without even saying so. I missed the first five minutes of the show when I could have been watching the NY station! Gaaahhh. So I missed it, but I know what it was.

I kind of think it's a CD, but I'm not sure. I just saw an announcement about it on this fansite, and thought I would pass it along.

I wasn't sure, so I wanted to make sure you knew, but if you do, I won't bother you with stuff you already know. ;) Another LJ friend wondered if it was Dark Horse Comics, but since I didn't see the comic reference, I don't know if that's what Beckett said, or if it was a more general comic reference. Either way. Man, that catalyzer is something you barely even see, much less recognize!

Well, technically I don't follow him because I don't have a Twitter account, but I check his posts every few days.

I don't remember FF well enough to recognize Dark Horse as reference, but I think it's an actual comic company, since apparently Frank Miller's a real guy.

Dark Horse isn't a direct FF reference. It's the company that's printed the FF comics.

I know! Bones, you have officially been pwned. I'm still watching it haphazardly, with the tiny hope that they can pull out of that shark-jumpy hole they've climbed into, but... I don't expect anything out of them anymore. Alas. But that is what Castle is for! To restore my faith in television!
