Oh, man. I know what I'm going to be doing over the winter break. The vid muse hit me hard this week, and in between finishing my syllabus and paper assignments for next semester, I'm going to attempt no fewer than three vids. (No prizes whatsoever for guessing the subject of said vids.) I just hope the library is prompt in getting me the DVDs I need for source material.

With the source I had, I started one tonight after tinkering with the thesis until I could tinker no more. Granted, I currently have enough source to get me through the first twelve seconds of the song, but they're twelve nice seconds, if I do say so myself. The song is "Happiness" by the Weepies. Given the clips I have in mind (and have written down on my little Excel spreadsheet along with the lyrics, instrumental figures, and times-down-to-the-second of each, because I am a giant organizational nerd), it is going to be the perkiest damn vid you ever did see. I'm so excited.
