Castle 2.19: "Wrapped Up in Death"
Apr. 6th, 2010 10:59 amNot that I'm not excited about warm weather and all, but 90 degrees on the sixth of April is maybe a little much.
Oh, Castle. You are such a funny, funny show.
I adored the Scooby Doo references ("Ruh-roh!"), and Castle being all Indiana Jones, and Martha with her Scottish play, and Alexis with the tomato spatter patterns, and I think especially the fact that Esposito and Ryan got a scene together without either Beckett or Castle (oh, and Montgomery being all, "Don't mess with things you can't explain, dammit!"). E&R were in fine form this week. my favorite bit might have been the scene where Castle asks Beckett to watch out for Alexis if he dies--played very nicely by the both of them, and OMG yay shippy moment--and then brings it back down to the twelve-year-old level with the request to destroy his porn collection. Then Esposito is right there telling him he's got it. Hee. Also, was Mayan Dude seriously named "Chakotay"? Bwah!
And Castle was sad that Alexis started on her science project without him. Aww. Just keep being this sweet and funny and awesome, show.
Although one thing that would've increased the awesome would be some indication of where Beckett's living now. It sure didn't seem like she was at Castle's. (And has Martha moved back in?)

Date: 2010-04-06 09:35 pm (UTC)Yeah, it's a bit much even for us. That kind of weather shouldn't be appearing until May, and even then only intermittently.
I've been wondering this since the end of last week's ep, when no one seemed remotely concerned about her and she wasn't at Chez Castle. WTF, show?
She magically got another apartment, perhaps? Yeah, it's bugging me.
And yeah, I got the feeling that Martha moved back in, but the reasons why are a bit fuzzy.
I guess she could've just been visiting at an opportune moment. She didn't appear much in this episode. Even so, I definitely got the feeling she was still living there...
