Thanks for that map. Smyrna is where one of Dad's friends is. He hasn't been able to get hold of him yet. At least we know it's mostly underwater now.

That map is actually a screencapture. If you want the update info, click here. I get the impression most of the outer counties are seeing the water recede--it's all flowing into the Cumberland now.

Thank you! For some reason, I thought the Cumberland might have still been rising a lot. The news (local and CNN) has said more than one thing, so I'm not sure anymore.

The Cumberland is still rising--supposed to crest at 52 feet in Nashville sometime this evening, and higher in Clarksville tomorrow morning. It's giving downtown Nashville and the area around Opry Mills a good soaking, anyway. Everywhere else, the waters are receding, and should be back under flood stage by tomorrow or Wednesday.
