Bloody phlegm doesn't necessarily mean pneumonia (or bronchitis, that's a possibility as well) - it could simply mean that your throat is all torn up from all the coughing and the phlegm is picking up blood on the, um, way up. Yeah.
When I had pneumonia, not only did I have a cough/sore throat/some nausea/feeling of detachedness, I also couldn't breathe properly - it felt like there was a heavy weight on my chest. Also, I literally lost my voice. AND, I was pretty much totally incapable of doing anything, but less even contemplating working on a paper.
And my sister was in pretty much the same condition whenever she had bronchitis.
So yes, go to the stupid doctor right away. But don't get too worried about it yet.
