Yeah, I'm out. The case was ludicrous, Isles couldn't make up her mind as to whether she was a carbon copy of Temperance Brennan or if she was actually good with people, the scene with the suspect's mother was painful, Rizzoli's family is irritating, and when R&I finally get a scene together, they spend it spouting shoehorned dialogue about their Hey, In Case You Missed It, We're STRAIGHT! love lives, or rather lack thereof.

I wanted to like this show. What a disappointment.

What a pity. I had some hopes after your description of the pilot. When will there be a decent programme with two (or more) female leads again?

I had hopes too. Alas. This show feels like it was written by a committee, and they were trying to hit various marks, I guess, rather than tell a coherent story or set of stories. (Possibly it will improve later, but I can't bring myself to care enough to watch more.)

Surely the day will come someday. While they're at it, could the PTB try and come up with a concept that's not a damn crime show or medical drama? They seem to have mushroomed in the last eight or ten years, and I'm getting really sick of them.

I was done in the first five minutes last week (only know about it because we had to watch The Closer for Dad and it was on right after). Just not even remotely the imagery I wanted to see, not just right before I went to bed, but EVER. Eww. No. Bye.

I didn't mind the imagery--it has to be way worse than they can show on basic cable to squick me--but the series as a whole is just SO DISAPPOINTING. I wanted a good show with two female leads, dammit.
