This is ridiculously cool. Homemade spacecraft! That works! And brings back video! I think I'm just pleased to live in an era in which this is possible.

That space footage is amazing, but I can't help but feel distressed by the story. Weren't they breaking the law, sending something up into space like that? What if it had hit someone on the way down?

I have no idea about the legality of it, but I just checked, and it's starting to reach some major news sites. I guess if it was illegal, we'll hear about it soon.

There was some kind of parachute involved, so I don't know what the damage would have been had it run into something/someone on the way down. Given the parachute and the small size of the thing, my totally, utterly uneducated guess is that any harm would be minimal, though, but I dunno...

DAMN that homemade spacecraft is cool! And Grover rocks. Grover is way better than the original annoying ad, and while the library one is pretty good, too, Grover FTW!

I think I actually like the library one more than Grover, but Grover definitely has his high points.
