Three things before leaving
Oct. 8th, 2003 12:01 pm1. Indian summer brings Mutant Ladybugs from Hell and quasi-Amish evangelists on streeetcorners in Gambier. I will never understand the logic behind this.
2. I need to stay far, far away from
crack_van. Fic recs are gooood, but the last thing I need in my life is another fandom. (That said, I'm considering looking into Alias fic...just because I wanna know more about Jack and Irina. Yeah, I'm a weird bird.)
3. Mort is going to be staged at Kenyon at some point this semester. I had no idea there even existed a play based on Discworld, but I'm making Pratchett-fangirl noises of glee anyway.
4. (Okay, I lied in the subject line.) Comments and e-mails will be replied to when I get home this afternoon. *bounce*

Date: 2003-10-08 04:52 pm (UTC)Why, thank you. I quite like it as well. Now if only these evangelists weren't such pains in the ass...
And most Discworld novels have been adapted into plays (bless you, Stephen Briggs), it's just that they're usually put on in the UK or Australia, mostly. I haven't heard of many in the US.
Hmmm. Interesting. Good to know.
