icepixie | Mmmm. Vacation. (Random things)

As I suspected, absolutely no work beyond the bare minimum is getting done this weekend. In other words, I'm writing a poem sometime between today and Sunday and reading another hundred pages of The Last September on the plane back. Gee, what a surprise. ;)

Cat (remember, "Cat" is his name...short for Catastophe) has decided that he has far more right to my comfy computer chair than I do, since I haven't been here for almost two months. I was trying to share it with him, but that didn't work out so well. Now I have a kitten on my lap. Awww.

Looked at Christmas decorations with Mom today while out shopping for a black jacket/shirt to replace the one I lost this weekend. (That's so traumatizing. Check out any picture of me and you'll probably see me wearing the one I lost. It's like an extention of my body at this point.) I now have an intense desire to finish the Sam/Jack Christmas fic I started in July. I may have to do that.

But now I think I'm going to watch TV. Because I can. Hee. (Although to be completely fair, I think I've watched more TV at school since the beginning of September than I did during the entirety of my days at school last year. One would think that means I'm doing less work, but actually I think it's more that I'm doing more work, wearing myself out, and needing to do something mindless to relax. Stargate being on every day (and five times on Mondays) and my roommate being a huge SG-1 fan might also have something to do with it...)
