Really just lovely. You know, it struck me watching it this time how often space porn is cut to action-y, quick beat music, but how well it works set to something like this, really melodic and contemplative. I wish I could be more articulate than that, heh; I'm not exactly sure what point I'm making.

For some reason, I tend to naturally want to pair space porn and slower music. I think perhaps I got really into the Voyager credits at a particularly impressionable age. (Yeah, the show kind of sucked, but man, their credits were PRETTY.)

I really should. The reason I hesitate to re-watch B5 is the same as why I hesitate to watch Farscape - they are both amazing and awesome shows, but I am not quite willing to give them the chance to break my heart all over again. Seriously, some of those episodes hurt like a sonofabitch, and angst is not something I go looking for these days.

No worries, though. I'm pretty sure I'll give in eventually, angst and all. :)

I haven't got to Voyager yet. I won't start it until I've watched DS9, and I won't start DS9 until I've finished TNG, and I won't finish TNG because once I do there will be no more new TNG. Which is kind of a dumb system. (Seriously, I was moving right along with TNG and then I realized that I only had two seasons left, and I've watched like four episodes in the last six months.)

Personally, I'd advise avoiding Voyager all together. Seriously, there are so many better things you could do with your time than waste it watching that show. Just watch the pretty credits and be done with it.

DS9, though, definitely worthwhile. Most of the time, anyway.

I'm short a DS9 icon, but I am definitely seconding the recommendation. I have lots of fond nostalgia for TNG, but DS9 is my favorite by far of the Star Trek series, and I think you'd love it. It has some pretty fantastic arc-work, for a Star Trek series... and does it help to say that Ronald D. Moore was involved? Because he totally was. Supervising producer and then co-executive producer for the whole run, and writer for 30 episodes, according to IMDB. ♥
