Perfect timing! I can watch tonight's episode in real time!
After watching "Plateau," I'm kind of over here going, "Wait. A TV pairing I ship gets this epic, universe-crossing, remember-me-and-don't-give-in-to-the-mind-control romance? At the beginning of season three? Really? THIS IS AMAZING!"*
And then in the next episode, Fauxlivia crosses her personal line of sleeping with Peter, which doesn't quite fit with the epic romance but is still quite interesting. (I am a lot more okay with a love triangle when two of the players are the same person, apparently.) Peter's going to feel guilty as hell when he figures it out, isn't he? Aw.
By "Do Shapeshifters Dream of Electric Sheep?", Walter is definitely suspecting something about Fauxlivia. I'm not sure why Peter tipped his hand by saying he'd noticed differences in her since she'd been back, unless he was aiming to confirm it by her reaction. Then again, perhaps he doesn't suspect; I wonder if he would actually have slept with her if he did.
Fauxlivia is COLD, shooting the deaf guy with no problems whatsoever. Wow. Then again, so is Newton, and a goodly number of people on the other side. I get the impression human life is less valuable over there.
Not sure what the deal is the the Sudden Deadly Oxygen Vacuums over there. They've managed to contain pollution to smaller areas, but it's consequently a million times worse in those areas? Air is being sucked into our universe? But HOLY CRAP THEY HAVE DAILY FLIGHTS TO THE MOON! Even if they haven't cured smallpox, I think I want to visit long enough to go to the moon. There's probably a low-gravity themepark. LunarDisney?
The red and blue credits are inspired.
Heh, Fringe HQ NYC is that great Vancouver Public Library building that's shown up in BSG, Caprica, and SG-1. It sure does get around...
So are John Scott's memories still bouncing around in Ourlivia's mind along with Fauxlivia's memories? 'Cause that poor girl is just not ever going to know what's hers anymore, I don't think.
OMG, Walter now owns Massive Dynamic. Ahahahaha. This cannot end well, but it will surely end entertainingly.
The shapeshifter going native was great. But I thought they had to switch to a new body every few days--they did at the beginning of S2, anyway. Perhaps this will be explained some day?
Loved Ourlivia rescuing her own self again. Awesome. (And it's just not a J.J. Abrams show--even if he's no longer really involved--without the lead making an impossible dive from a high place, is it? *snicker*)
Bwahaha, they cast Amy Madigan (Iris from Carnivale) as Fauxlivia's mother. I approve. She's totally going to do something evil.
* Pleasepleaseplease don't get everyone back to their universe and then have Peter and Ourlivia decide it's too weird to be together after all that's happened. I would cry.
