Productivity!
Dec. 25th, 2010 11:54 pmSomehow, in between assorted Christmas activities, photo-taking expeditions, and reading a crapload of Yuletide stories (the archive has been a STAR for me this year), I have managed to come up with 1650 2400(!) words of fic. I don't even know. Apparently I thrive on awkwardness and on my POV character being rather scheming, because that's what this is all about. (To wit: in a timewarped universe where it's 1996 in Chicago and 2004 in New Burbage, Fraser and Thatcher come to the latter for one of those corporate management seminars Geoffrey led in S1. Geoffrey gleefully sticks them with the R&J balcony scene. Awkwardness ensues. I am enjoying the hell out of myself, which is somewhat ironic because I hate that play, but! It is entertaining. Also, Geoffrey gets to get his directorial mojo on, which is fun too. Oh, and Oliver popped in for a bit.)
Hopefully I did not just jinx myself to never finish it. Fingers crossed!

In other news, it did in fact snow a couple of inches last night, and kept snowing in fits and starts throughout the day. I took pictures, and will post...someday soon. Something has gone wrong with LJ's payment processor, and the upshot is that I couldn't renew my account yesterday, so I'm stuck at the basic level and thus cannot use Scrapbook until they fix whatever's wrong. If it persists, I'll dig up my Photobucket account, but hopefully it won't persist. Further fingers crossed.
