...Okay, so four inches of snow is fairly impressive even once a year in Nashville. This is the third time. And winter is only half-over.

I suspect the apocalypse.

I said the same thing yesterday when I saw the weather on the news. People must be freaking out. It's freezing in NY but at least that's normal.

Are you all shoveling and salting? Be safe!

We aren't really freaking out so much as going, "Hey, snow day!" Except for the poor sods who had to work. Sometimes I think people move down here from the north, where they have the infrastructure in place to deal with this kind of thing, and don't realize that we have, like, thirty plows for the entire city...

I guess we could have shoveled, but my car could make it out of the driveway without bothering, so we didn't. I got to drive in snow for the first time in my life today. Usually it melts before I can get out there. Thankfully I didn't have to go anywhere in particular, so Dad and I just drove around the neighborhood for a while. I didn't get stuck and I didn't fishtail, so I consider it a success. :D
