Of the internet pranks I've seen so far today, Hulu's is far and away my favorite. I think the frames were the best part.

Google's is pretty good, although I feel like it's not as outlandish as some they've done in the past. But for a subtle prank, do a search for "helvetica" or "comic sans" and see what happens.

I really like YouTube's 1911 button. :D

I haven't been through all of Think Geek's fake products, but I think my favorite so far is the Tribbles & Bits cereal. (...Someone tell me that's actually a fake. Their offerings are so strange usually that I'm not entirely sure.)

Yes, the "Tribbles & Bits" looks to be a prank, as it's on their home page today. Lots of amusing stuff there, though you're right it is often hard to tell what is what!

Not sure what my favourite prank today was. Didn't see Hulu as I don't go there. I did like the Gmail Mobile one, and my company had on it's corporate portal solicitations for the "Employee Calendar 2012" which was fake.

Seemed like most of the stuff I saw made you smile, but wasn't lol funny.

Hulu's was great; they restyled the page as it might have looked in 1996, with "the latest episodes" of shows like X-Files, NewsRadio, and the like. There were little "this site is under construction" graphics, a hit counter, and a note that they were soon going to be moving to Geocities. They even had manipulated grainy publicity photos so they loaded line by line, like GIFs over an old modem connection.
