I have 12 Dreamwidth invite codes if anyone wants to make a backup in light of LJ's recent DDoS attack troubles. The current rumors are that a pro-Putin youth group in Russia are attacking the site in order to shut up certain political bloggers. I've seen a few articles speculating that these attacks might be state-supported, but no one seems to know for sure. Either way, I imagine they're going to continue for a little while, at least, though LJ says they're buying new hardware to better compensate.

Date: 2011-04-09 12:08 am (UTC)More inspiration: check out this tumblr for many wonderful pictures of DD. If you do a search for the show's name over the whole site, you'll also get a ton of picture-related results, and there are tags you can click on for each of the characters.
Dana Delany and Jeri Ryan both have their own Twitters too. They've been answering questions during episodes of the show, and while Twitter makes it really difficult to figure out exactly what question was asked, the answers sometimes stand on their own. From what I can tell, DD thinks Nicholas Bishop (Peter) is hot, and he's the "social director" of a cast that appears to have a lot of fun together. Oh, and she thinks Nathan Fillion is awesome and wants him to guest star on the show, possibly as Richard Castle, which earns her even more cool points, IMO. (I already think she's pretty amazing. Totally someone I'd like to hang out with, maybe talk books with.) Jeri Ryan appears to post a lot of links to funny pictures and websites, and tells followers happy birthday and good morning and whatnot a lot.
Further interesting info: DD actually got into a very bad car accident--was literally hit by a bus--a couple weeks before they started shooting. Got a concussion and broke two fingers, so the hand-rubbing she does on the show is less about Megan than it is her actually being in pain. :( (In an interview I can't find now, she says, "I never knew I was such a Method actor!")
