Arrrrghhh.
Oct. 20th, 2003 01:35 pmThis site is EVIL. You know why? 'Cause it makes me stay up far later than I should be on a Sunday night downloading Alias video clips. And over 19,000 screencaps? From just two seasons? Were I to make collages for this show (I will not! I won't, I won't, I won't! I won't be dragged into this!), I wouldn't even know where to begin. My God, you could practically make those flipbooks, where you make things animated by going through the pages really fast, of entire episodes with that amount of cappage. *goggles*
That said, I think I'm gonna have to move into the Sydney/Vaughn camp. Before, I was sort of floating along in my nice little not-shipping-for-this-show world, but you knew that couldn't last. Although I very nearly renounced the very idea of being an S/V shipper when I saw the clip about Vaughn's father's watch. Gag. Me. You know, it's really quite difficult to be sappier than I am. They accomplished it. In spades. ("This was my father's watch. He said you could set your heart by it. It stopped October first. That was the day I met you." *shudder*) Ew, ew, ew.
But other than that...heh, this show is delightfully neurotic, especially Sydney and Vaughn. Bwahahaha. It's like an updated Northern Exposure with spies, with the neuroses caused more by stress than by inborn kookiness. Either way, I'm finding it extremely amusing on so many levels.

Date: 2003-10-20 01:21 pm (UTC)Oh that watch scene is great,
*shudder* Gag, gag, gag. There's a point where sap goes from being "awww"ish to revolint, and that was it.
have you seen the one from A Broken Heart?
The one at the pier? Yep. 'Twas cute. I haven't seen eeeeverything, but of what I've seen, I liked the "frost the pie" clip. Not only was it amusing, but that look on Vaughn's face...damn. *shippy sigh* :)
