Warehouse13

Although it had a few more logic holes than usual, I liked the A plot well enough. It's always good to see Lindsay Wagner, I enjoy flustered, romantic Artie, and Claudia as his cheerleader is endlessly entertaining. Rene Auberjonois returning was an unexpected surprise. The B plot, though...what the hell was that? The net effect was to leave Steve thinking Pete and Myka are irresponsible jerks, which--unless they're planning an arc where he turns against the Warehouse team and perhaps joins up with whatever forces of evil Southern Sally works for because he thinks the inmates are running the asylum in South Dakota--seems pointless. Perhaps they explained the drunken juggling balls after the episode ended. Or something.

I can't really tell what they were trying to do with the whole Pete/Myka UST thing. Since it's the second time this season they've mentioned it, it appears they might have been seriously attempting to pursue it, but since both characters seemed to realize how flat it fell,* were they really just making fun of the cliche that partners of the opposite sex always fall into bed and/or in love?

* Myka more than Pete, admittedly; I've suspected since S1 that he has a bit of a crush on her that she does not return at all.

Rizzoli & Isles

Or, in which Jane gets territorial about her girlfriend, Maura enjoys making her jealous, and everyone winks very broadly at the fanbase at the end. And apparently there was a case too, but who cares about that. (For the record, I figured from the teaser that it was going to be someone in a sailor costume, and the moment we saw them passing out the drinks I knew the killer had to be tied into that somehow. If I can figure these things out...well, let's just be glad no one watches this show for the plots.)

Yeah, so, basically this episode served as example after example that Jane is completely in denial of her attraction to Maura, and Maura is just biding her time until Jane figures things out. I so wanted Maura to ask her if there was some ulterior motive for wanting to keep Maura away from Giovanni, because...yeah. That wasn't jealousy at all. Also, Maura bringing up sex at every available opportunity sure wasn't because she was interested in Giovanni or any other guy. Should've just said yes when Jane asked if you wanted to sleep with her, sweetie.

I would like to marry whoever made that last bit possible. :D

I object to Maura's characterization of her and Jane only seeing each other at work. Really? I've seen six episodes now, and...no, they see each other pretty much all the time. They went to brunch with Angie at the beginning of the episode, for crying out loud! Eh, whatever.

Frankie getting the guy with the car door because Jane told him to stay in the car, not to not go anyway, was heartwarming. Didn't Castle do something like that a couple years ago?
