I found the link to that here, where I frequently lurk. In the post was a link to this post, which is still one of the funniest things I've ever read.
And finally, the Season 2 promo for Body of Proof is out. Mostly I'm just amused by the fact that there's a clip of Ethan wearing a pink feather boat and...apparently getting hit in the back of the knees by something? Falling down in horror at something he's seeing? I have no idea, but that storyline surely must be entertaining.

Me too! The same poster (with others contributing) made a pages-long thread on killing evil Nazi groundhogs.
And there's always my other favorite, which comes in something like six different parts* across the course of the thread: Woman behold thy daughter, daughter thy mother, & BOTH OF YOU LOSE MY NUMBER!
* ETA: Just started re-reading the thread, and by "six" apparently I meant "sixty." Block out several hours to read the whole thing. It doesn't get going until the guy's third or fourth post, but after that you can't look away.

Date: 2011-08-18 10:04 pm (UTC)The blimp attack story reminded me so much of Stewart Martin's first night at Exeter story when he woke up and mistook his desk chair as a 'midget looming over him' and kicked it across the room... which wasn't far, if you remember how small those rooms were.
The idea of a midget 'looming' in any context still amuses me.

Given how far one could sink into those beds, with their concave mattresses, I think a reasonably large mouse could loom over someone lying in bed...
