icepixie | Rain, rain, come to stay

Uuuugggghhh, we hit 100 again today. It's September! Summer, can you give it a rest? Tomorrow is forecast to be 100 again. Then 92 on Sunday, and then the Weather Channel goes totally crazy and predicts 67 for Monday, but I'm much more inclined to believe the local news stations' prediction of 76 or so. Either way, that'll be nice, especially since the whole 70s thing lasts the rest of the week. Also, we're going to get RAIN, which I haven't seen since mid-July. Thank you, Tropical Storm Lee!

You haven't had rain, either? We had one day last week, and before that a day in June. So, yeah. And it's still 100. Though it keeps being predicted to go down, however it's been constantly pushed back. Maybe one day. In October.

Records say we got an inch sometime around the middle of August, but I don't remember it. Before that, once or twice each in June and July. The drought monitor says "abnormally dry" for my county, but right next door they have the beginnings of a drought. Nothing nearly as bad as Texas, but it's definitely been dry.

Maybe you'll get a tropical storm come up your way after Lee goes by?
