Neutrinos break the speed of light! Obviously this means we're only a few years away from Starfleet, yes?

I found several recent articles about the movie Liberal Arts: filming at Kenyon, interview with Josh Radnor, interview with Allison Janney.

The film still sounds awful--the female lead is named Zibby, which I think tells you everything you need to know about it, though IMDB also has a summary--but apparently almost all of it was filmed on campus. I have to watch when it comes out! Maybe with the sound off.

Neutrinos and people aren't the same thing, unfortunately. When I took physics in college I took issue with all the speed of light stuff. What is the point of making students do all this hypothetical math involving the speed of light if we could never go the speed of light or would turn to jelly if we tried? I think the Star Trek transporter technology will come before warp speed though. :)

True. But if this is corroborated, we have a beachhead against Einstein! ;)

I would definitely enjoy some transporter technology, especially if it became widespread. I could live in the tiny town of my dreams and commute to a job somewhere else!
