Quickie Castle spoilers
Dec. 5th, 2011 11:20 pmIn my post about this week's episode, I wrote: Now I really, really, really want the AU where Castle and Beckett are solving mysteries and getting drunk in the 1930s like Nick and Nora Charles, only this time it's Beckett who's the former detective who married Castle's money.
APPARENTLY ALL MY DREAMS ARE COMING TRUE!
Okay, well, pretty close anyway, if not exactly. I don't care whether it's set in the 30s or 40s, but I would much prefer Beckett as the detective rather than a gangster's moll. Oh, well. PERIOD PIECE, YES! And then...a ballroom-flavored episode later? Castle, I'm somewhat disappointed that you're using gimmicks instead of good characterization and storytelling to draw viewers, but I can't deny that you know exactly the kind of gimmicks that will get me to watch.
