Castle: "The Limey"

I knew I should've just not bothered watching until the finale. No, I take that back--the British fellow was fun. He had kind of a competent, improvisational, Michael Westen Lite vibe to him. At this point, I think I'd actually prefer watching a show about him as long as we kicked both Castle and Beckett to the curb.
(Although did anyone really buy that accent as British rather than Australian? Good attempt at a redneck accent at the airport, though!)
I enjoyed Castle's rappelling scheme, too. More of this goofiness in the show, plz.
Lanie spoke the truth! Too bad she didn't do that a year ago. (Also too bad that Lanie's entire character is spouting medical evidence, having an on-again/off-again thing with Esposito that got three seconds of screentime, and giving Beckett relationship advice she never takes.) I have a feeling the writers did not get the supreme irony of the "holding pattern" remark. Your holding pattern is losing once-steadfast fans like me, show!
