icepixie | Castle 5.03: "Secret's Safe With Me"

I felt like I was watching an episode from S1 or S2, and that was entirely awesome. Castle and Beckett are so cute and sexy together again! He's throwing double entendres as fast as he can, and now she's lobbing them right back!

I loved "I really want to kiss you right now" followed by the handshake, and how they ended it with Castle saying his hand was getting sweaty, Beckett complaining it was gross, and then wiping her hand off on her shirt. Hee!

If everyone in the precinct doesn't know about their new relationship by now, then I've lost all respect for them. They're waaaaay too obvious. Hilariously so, but still.

I loved Martha in this, from her matter-of-fact "BTW, saw Beckett hiding in the closet, you might want to address that at some point soon" to "the pollen count's getting to me too" to her magnanimous announcement that she would stay the rest of her life, rent-free with Castle so he would never have to be alone.

WTF was going on with Gates? Just...what? No, really, were drugs involved here? Because whoa. Shades of what happened to Meg Thatcher in S3/4 of due South, and trust me, show, that is not a place you want to go.

Alexis moving out was meh, but her storylines have been meh for years now. Sure wish my freshman dorm had looked like that.
