*waves* Thank you! I am so glad you loved it. I hope I am not coming off completely stalkery, but I saw on your journal that you linked to the Hem website, so I turned to my friend, who is the Queen of All Things Hem, and I was like, WHAT WILL THE PERFECT SONG BE? And she supplied it. :D

Not stalkery at all! When I saw the Hem song on the soundtrack, I figured you had either wandered over here--and probably knew I was a fan right off, since I kind of proclaim my love for them at regular intervals here--or just had excellent taste. ;) And that was indeed the perfect song for the fic!

BTW, did I see you once upon a time in the nx_rewatch comm? Maybe I've just seen your username in the list of people watching it. (Heh. And you worried about being stalkery.)

Yeah, I read all your NX fics and watched your vids over on AO3 too, to get a feel for what you liked. Of course I couldn't comment because I was afraid you'd figure it out! I shall rectify that!

The funny part is that my friend never watched NX - I just told her what the story was about and she came up with the song immediately. :D

I do watch that comm, so that is probably where you've seen my name. I did a ton of rewatching (along with pulling out all my NX books) for the story, so that was great!

Which NX books do you have? I have Letters from Cicely and Louis Chunovic's Northern Exposure Book, both of which are great. I hear the cookbook is good too, but I haven't gotten to it yet.

I have the both of those (and I love Letters from Cicely so much - it's like a bonus episode :D). I also have Chris-In-The-Morning: Love, Life, and the Whole Karmic Enchilada which is collection of Chris quotes (very helpful in getting his voice right when writing him) and the I have the cookbook, which is great! Good recipes and a fun conceit - it's written as if it's fundraiser and all the characters are contributing, so they often comment on, and introduce their recipes. The best are the Ruth-Anne and Adam bits.
