icepixie | Essaying out...

Well, I'm still wavering between two topics for my final Irish Lit. paper. There's the landscape thing, which would be interesting, but would require more reading (another play) and I'd have to revisit At Swim-Two-Birds, which is so not something I'm looking forward to. The Riverdance topic (how the show relates to the Irish Diaspora, why Irish music/dance/culture in general, and Riverdance in particular, has recently become so very popular across the globe, and probably other points) would be way fun to research and write about, assuming I could even begin to come up with a thesis on it, but there isn't as much out there, and it'll be really difficult to turn it into a coherent paper.

Agh! Am torn! Watch me write the beginning of two papers and end up smushing them together. Meep.
