stars_like_dust, I got your card! Thanks! It's very cute. We're actually having fairly pleasant weather right now. It was 60F/15.5C, and it's supposed to be in the 50s for the next several days. Not tropical, but it could be worse. I'll send cold thoughts anyway, though. :)

I do seem to remember thinking that it would have been a good time to plant grass.
The grass seeds would've floated away.
Hopefully it's like that again this spring - so I can plant more grass seed! Yes, I'm a homeowner. Boring, aren't I?
*shrug* I've planted grass seed before--for a little kid, it was fun getting to push the little spreader-thingy. But I suppose it's quite a different story when you have to do homeowner stuff, as opposed to when you can stop halfway through and let your parents finish. ;)

Date: 2003-12-27 10:00 am (UTC)Yeah. It always seems a waste to buy grass seed. I think if/when I own a home, I may just seed the whole yard with wildflowers and see what happens... ;)

Yep. Although I always outrake my parents. They mumble something about their backs not being up to it and leave me to finish the yard... ;)

Believe me, I know how they feel!
