US figure skaters on what they would change about the Summer Olympics.

I especially enjoyed the suggestions of adding piranahs to the synchronized swimming pool, a lion on the track, and a giant wall covered in Velcro for the gymnasts, where they get judged on how well they jump up and stick to it. And, this, from Michael Weiss: "Add sharks to the pool in all of the swimming events. Now let's see how fast they swim."

I think I may have just found something to like about him...

Funny list. Loved the one where a skater suggested all the divers had to do one cannonball dive and the bigger the splash, the higher the score. ;)

My favorite:

Andy Seitz: "I think it would be really cool if before all the track events the competitors would put their noses on a baseball bat and spin around to get really, really dizzy, and then run the meet."

The highlight on Scott Smith was amusing, because he suggested an event that already existed! Hasn't he heard of the 4x100 and 4x200 Individual Medley? LOSER! ;)

I'd be interested in reading how the summer games athletes think the winter games could be spiced up. Thin ice in places on the rink? Skaters having to compete outdoors with the wind chill, rather than in the weather protected stadium?

Well, if it's good enough for Most Extreme Elimination Challenge...

Actually, you win if you stay up. But yes.

It's hysterically bad. My favorite is when they take off running over stones to get to the other side of a stream, only some of the stones are booby-trapped. *crash*

And I can blame [livejournal.com profile] nickless for this one, too...
