- Someone really ought to fic that "makeout session with an alien with eight hands" Torri was talking about, 'cause hee.

- I knew Jamie Bamber was English, but hearing that accent still shocked the heck out of me. Also, Paul McGillion sounds significantly less Scottish than Beckett. But I think I knew that already.

- Tricia Helfer cracks me up. And for someone from Alberta, she sounds a hell of a lot like a Mississippian. (Apparently the theme for tonight is "accents.")

- Love, love, LOVE Sam's new hair. So in love. It probably requires more maintenence than Sam would ever really expend on her hair, but it's still pretty.

- BEN!!!! And CLAUDIA!!!!! I can't remember the exact quote, but their "don't screw up this show" (or whatever) was so amusing.

- Ben making faces behind Michael Shanks's head in the spacesuit cutout was priceless. They don't look exactly alike (well, with the exception of certain photographs), but they could easily be brothers.

- This whole King Arthur thing on SG-1 is going to be either really good or really, horribly bad. I have a feeling it might be the latter, even with Ben getting to do some swordfighting...

I loved the pet store story. Further proof that geeky men are weird and don't know how to deal with women. It's not like she's going to kill them. Probably.

Since I started watching last year, I naturally don't expect most of the stuff done on SG-1 to be good. But it'll probably be entertaining no matter what, especially with Ben and Claudia, and I'm fine with that. :)

I didn't know that. It was very surprising to me.

I think he moved from Scotland to, you guessed it, Canada at a fairly young age, like eight or ten. I've heard grumblings from Scots that his accent isn't accurate, although I personally couldn't tell any difference between Beckett's accent and many guys in Glasgow when I was there.

Since I started watching last year, I naturally don't expect most of the stuff done on SG-1 to be good. But it'll probably be entertaining no matter what, especially with Ben and Claudia, and I'm fine with that. :)

Really, most things would be more entertaining than season eight, which I didn't even bother watching for the second half...
