Free admission! ...Yes, I realize I may be the only person on the planet to use "really cool-looking" and "stained glass museum" in the same sentence. Er. Anyway, pretty!

The stained glass museum is AWESOME. Plan a couple hours for sure. At least half the pieces have quite detailed histories to read, particularly the windows & doors from local Victorian and Arts & Crafts buildings.

And yes, definitely try to hit Chicago Shakes. My favorite theatre space anywhere, and consistently great shows.

I doubt the theatre will be happening, since we're already seeing Sweeney Todd. But is there anything cool to see just about the building itself?

Well, the theatre is just cool on the inside, but Navy Pier in general is just neat to walk around. Especially in the summer, when the sides are open along most of the shopping area.

Where are you seeing Sweeney? I saw audition listings for couple companies recently, but they conflicted with stuff I was already committed to.

I have no idea. One of the friends I'm seeing who lives there just asked us if we wanted to see it, we said yes, and now we have tickets. *g*
