Bones stuff
Jan. 23rd, 2009 07:57 pmHeh. I've been looking forward to "Double Trouble in the Panhandle" since I saw spoilers on LJ, and it was certainly amusing, at least once I waved goodbye to dignity. (I cringed a lot during the "rocking the trailer" scene.)
Although my goodness, the logical fallacies abounded. They didn't, you know, rehearse the act before peforming it in front of an audience? Oh, these two fail so hard at being undercover. And are so amusing while doing so. :D
(Also, I'm going to guess someone on the staff was a fan of Carnivale? Granted, this didn't have the religious aspect, but there were definitely dirty freaks in the desert associated with a really crap carnival/circus.)
I still like Mr. Nigel Murray--finally, someone who shares my penchant for finding obscure trivia and trotting it out at inappropriate moments--but I do wish they'd just pick someone already.

I think I would've mostly liked "Fire in the Ice" if I hadn't been so distracted by the BLATANT UNBELIEVABILITY of Booth working the freaking case WHEN HE WAS A SUSPECT. *headdesk* I know reality doesn't really mesh with this show, but...seriously? This is as ridiculous as that interview in the Vomit Comet.
I did like Agent Perotta, though. She was, you know, competent, and also funny.
Didn't like that the case ended so quickly. The guy just confesses...that's it? Hmmm.
I'm with Brennan on not understanding anything about hockey. I assume the guy in Booth's dream is famous?
