B5 thoughts
Feb. 28th, 2009 12:01 amSo I finally got a chance to watch two more episodes of B5 (S1, episodes 3 and 4). Four thoughts:
- Oh, Susan. She really is the universe's punching bag, isn't she?
(In regards to that, I was listening to Gorecki's Symphony No. 3, and despite the fact that the material's Polish and she's Russian, I feel like there should be Ivanova fic that in some manner incorporates the second movement. I don't know exactly how that would work, but I think it should be done.)
- One of the girls in C&C is a dead ringer for Jayne Torvill. I keep expecting her to speak in an English accent.
- Jerry Doyle isn't doing too bad of an impersonation of eighties-era Bruce Willis either.

cybermathwitch, I really started to notice what we were talking about in regards to the stagey blocking and camerawork of this show with episode four. It's irritating. Almost as irritating as everyone-but-Claudia Christian's bad acting. (Richard Biggs isn't too bad either, I suppose. But oh, Michael O'Hare. Ow. It's like watching Shatner.)

OMG YES LOVE. I go back and forth between the first and second movements as my favorites. Around the sixth through tenth minutes of the first movement, at the crescendos, I think I can feel my heart actually breaking.
