Who needs a Stairmaster when one lives on the fourth floor? I've gotten to the stage where I can do all the flights at a very fast walk without getting out of breath. Go team me! This is with only a purse, BTW, not a backpack. We'll see what happens to that idea when I bring home half the library for various papers later in the semester.

In other news, PAIN! Pain that even heating pads and ibuprofen aren't doing a whole hell of a lot to combat!

*hugs, shares pain* I just wish I had a heating pad. My 'scripts work pretty well but I don't have anything stronger than tylenol. :-(

Never went to get prescription pain relief because I thought that time last April was a one-time thing. This wasn't as bad as that one was, but now am rethinking that decision. Have you tried those air-activated heating pads, ThermaCare or something? They're great. You can go places and still have the heating pad, which is excellent for things like, say , dinner or whatever.

I used them for back pain this summer, but never cramps. I'll have to look into them. Especially since the chronic back pain has returned now that I'm toting books all over campus.
