Apr. 25th, 2009 02:41 pmI like warm weather and all, but I think five days straight (yesterday through Tuesday) of near-90F temperatures in April is a little excessive. There's a freaking wildfire watch on now. (Apparently living near a national park covered in forest means I get new and interesting weather warnings? I don't recall ever having one of those in Nashville.)

Date: 2009-04-26 04:41 am (UTC)I would've thought it a once-or-twice-a-year sort of thing, especially since there's been a drought down here for...what...five or six years now? I mean, there's a looooot of trees in what the National Weather Service considers the Knoxville area.
Yeah, it felt like 85 here yesterday, and that's just wrong. Delightful, but wrong.
I was appreciating the 75 we had for a day or two. That's just about perfect.
