Just watched "Silence in the Library"/"Forest of the Dead." Uh...did The Moff mean for the ending to be as creepy and disturbing as it was, or was he just blind to the variety of implications it has?

(I did like the idea of things living in the dark. But it wasn't cool enough to overcome the Massive Gender Issues. And seriously, a library the size of a planet and there were only 4,000 people in it? I'm going to fanwank that everyone else had realized paper books were for losers and were reading on their 51st century e-book readers.)
