icepixieSoooo...the two pages I just wrote are either really, incredibly wrong, or absolutely frakking brilliant. I honestly can't tell at this point.
However, at least that section is pretty much done with, so now all I have to do is conclude this chapter, finish up my section on "Quarantine" (which is giving me such headaches, argh), and, if I feel ambitious, insert a couple of paragraphs on some poems from Domestic Violence. Then I'll be ready to take the Blue Revising Pen of DOOOOOOM to it and finally, finally send it off to my director!
(For the record, I am on page 41 right now. Longest academic thing I've ever written, OMG!)

Date: 2009-12-06 10:32 pm (UTC)Oh, I do most heartily wish it were. Really, I'm about...two-thirds through with the rough draft now. Maybe not even that. I think I've got four or five more pages to go on this chapter, another chapter that'll be 15-20, a conclusion that'll probably be five (or at any rate as few as I can get away with--or oooh, maybe I'll just conclude the whole thing in my last chapter!), and then when I revise, I've already got about three pages to add on to chapter two.
Thank you for the cheering BSG cast, though. I did kind of feel like cheering when I realized exactly how far I'd gotten today. :D
