Soooo...the two pages I just wrote are either really, incredibly wrong, or absolutely frakking brilliant. I honestly can't tell at this point.

However, at least that section is pretty much done with, so now all I have to do is conclude this chapter, finish up my section on "Quarantine" (which is giving me such headaches, argh), and, if I feel ambitious, insert a couple of paragraphs on some poems from Domestic Violence. Then I'll be ready to take the Blue Revising Pen of DOOOOOOM to it and finally, finally send it off to my director!

(For the record, I am on page 41 right now. Longest academic thing I've ever written, OMG!)

I had a more moderate version of this feeling in my intro, and my director thought it was great, so I'm crossing my fingers. Then again, this time could be the time it goes the other way...
