Oh, what gorgeous fluidity in your clip choices and timing. Absolutely lovely from beginning to end, especially with the use of the live cheers there.

Thank you! I love vidding movement (dancing, skating, etc.) precisely because it automatically adds such fluidity to the vid. I've never used a live song before, but this one is much better than the CD version, and I figured if any vid could justify the crowd noise, it was this one. ;)

And I love that you haven't smoothed out the plot into a simpler "we were awful; then we got better" narrative, and that the chorus shows them succeeding...but also screwing up.

Haha, thank you! It never occurred to me to smooth out the plot like that, because it's Kate and Doug, and screwing up while also being wildly successful is just what they do. :D

what a sweet vid!
I have not watched the movie (I think, I once watched an ice skate movie as a kid but I remember next to nothing beside that fact), but I watched another vid for this fandom to the song My Body is a Cage by Arcade Fire, made by vesperregina on yt, so its nice to see another vidder tackle different aspects of the same movie (with larger fandoms like mcu or doctor who thats to expect but with smaller fandoms there are often lots of untold stories). I love the feeling of support and triumph in this, made me smile
