stars_like_dust, I got your card! Thanks! It's very cute. We're actually having fairly pleasant weather right now. It was 60F/15.5C, and it's supposed to be in the 50s for the next several days. Not tropical, but it could be worse. I'll send cold thoughts anyway, though. :)

Spring in Ohio! Should be fun. Slush. Rain. LOL!
Spring in Ohio was freaking cold. And snowy. 40 degrees was the usual high in April. Brrrr. Of course, in Nashville, it rained every. single. day from April through the end of June. And I was here for most of it. So not fun. I think the entire eastern half of the US got more rain than we knew what to do with last spring/early summer...

*tries to remember*
Don't think we had as much as the previous spring, but we were still getting snow until April, so that's probably when you were getting rain.

It was mostly May and June. I know my mom's roses had mold(!) on them, as did many of our shoes. The whole area was completlely soggy for months.

I do seem to remember thinking that it would have been a good time to plant grass. Hopefully it's like that again this spring - so I can plant more grass seed! Yes, I'm a homeowner. Boring, aren't I?

The grass seeds would've floated away.

*shrug* I've planted grass seed before--for a little kid, it was fun getting to push the little spreader-thingy. But I suppose it's quite a different story when you have to do homeowner stuff, as opposed to when you can stop halfway through and let your parents finish. ;)

Date: 2003-12-27 10:00 am (UTC)Yeah. It always seems a waste to buy grass seed. I think if/when I own a home, I may just seed the whole yard with wildflowers and see what happens... ;)

Yep. Although I always outrake my parents. They mumble something about their backs not being up to it and leave me to finish the yard... ;)

Believe me, I know how they feel!
