Double Drabble
Jun. 30th, 2003 05:07 pmDecided that I'd never figure out the story behind this little bit I found on my hard drive. A little tweaking turned it into an honest-to-god, exactly-200-words double drabble that is probably the shortest thing I will ever write. (I'm far too long-winded to ever write a real, 100-word drabble. The recent history paper that only had to be fifteen pages but ended up being twenty-three comes to mind...)

Jun. 3rd, 2003 11:26 pmWoo-woo! I managed to corral Muse long enough to actually finish something! And even better, it's not angst! *does the Gandalf Happy Dance (picture coming whenever I get around to scanning it in)*
Fair warning: though short, this hasn't been beta-ed. It was just something that wouldn't leave me alone and also gave me a chance to play around with Sam and Jack in a fluffy, somewhat humorous piece. It's also yet another "Sam and Jack go fishing *cough* at Jack's cabin" fic.

I still don't like it. But I wanted to deal with this somehow, and if/when (yeah, I think Muse is latching on to this fandom) I write more SG, it'll probably come up again, hopefully to be dealt with better.
